My name is Lisa Darling I am a licensed State of Michigan Paramedic and Instructor Coordinator. I have been in EMS since I left high school in 1990 and it has been a passion for me to be able to teach others the high quality standards I was taught years ago. To be able to save a life and be there for others in their desperate time of need is an honor to me. It is also a good feeling to know that you and your partners were able to save a life or assist someone on their worst day!

(BLS) Basic Life Support Course

The Basic Life Support Course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages, including the use of the AED This class is intended for participants who provide health care in a wide variety of settings. including in hospital & out of hospital providers, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, firefighters, respiratory therapists, physician assistants, medical or nursing students in training police officers & other allied health personnel.

Heartsaver First Aid Course

The Heartsaver First Aid Course will teach students how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes of an emergency until professional help arrives. This class is intended for those who have a duty to respond to a first aid or cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. The content includes general principles , medical emergencies, and injury emergencies. This course can be combined with Heartsaver AED for CPR adult, child, infant.

Heartsaver CPR/AED Course

The Heartsaver AED course teaches CPR/AED use, relief of choking in adults, children and infant. CPR and barrier devices for all ages. This course is intended for all lay rescuers, such as employees in the workplace, day care employees, babysitters, airline personnel, security guards, police, family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac arrest.

EMS Continuing Education Credit by the Hour

This course is intended for certified and licensed EMS personnel to renew their 3 year licenses! Courses are 1 hour each.

EMS Continuing Education Weekend Refresher Course

This course is intended for certified and licensed First Responder groups that are in need of renewing their license and would like to get it done over just one weekend.
